We love to eat. There, we said it. If we’re really being honest, we oftentimes pick our next destination based on food. (We went to Japan 80% for the food, 20% for everything else.)
So before going to Paradisus Los Cabos, we were skeptical that an all-inclusive resort could live up to our usual high-standards of cuisine. Spoiler alert: the food blew us away. With seven restaurants, seven bars, and incredible room service (our favorite!), Paradisus Los Cabos is a tasty and creative mecca for sometimes-snobby foodies like ourselves. Here’s a few of the highlights:
BREAKFAST
Breakfast is our favorite meal of the day. It’s the first thing we think of when we wake up. Well, breakfast and coffee. Thankfully Paradisus Los Cabos does both extremely well. Because we were staying in the Royal Service area of the resort, we had the option to dine at La Palapa, our breakfast spot of choice. It had the perfect blend of healthy options and un-healthy options. (Because, VACATION!) Every morning we had the fresh-squeezed juice (our favorites were the Green juice and the Energy juice), muesli or yogurt, and tried different egg dishes. Oh, and the brioche french toast. It was unreal. Go to Paradisus Los Cabos just for that.
POOLSIDE DINING
We have a theory that food tastes better when you’re outside. Especially by a pool. And paired with a margarita. That being said, the poolside food options are FABULOUS! Some of our favorites included the burger, the tempura fish tacos, the chips and guacamole (all day every day), and the quesadillas. Delicious. All of it.
MOLE
It goes without saying that Paradisus Los Cabos has some killer Mexican food. Mole is tasty, authentic, and incredibly fresh. While they have many traditional dishes, there are several with a modern twist as well! One night Alli ordered salmon al pastor that she claims to be the best salmon she’s ever had, and Bobby had some drool-worthy tacos. Definitely one of our favorite restaurants on the property!
SUSHI
We could eat sushi every day, and at Paradisus Los Cabos, you can!! They have their own sushi and teppanyaki restaurant, Bana, that serves some of our favorite Asian-style cuisine. The atmosphere is modern and eclectic, with stylish hanging lamps and sleek furniture. We recommend sitting at the sushi bar where you can watch their talented sushi chefs handcraft the rolls. Oh, and definitely do the teppanyaki experience too. It’s better than Benihana!
ROOM SERVICE
You know you’re on vacation when you order everything on the room service menu… and we definitely did just that! And the options are endless, from made-to-order pizzas to healthy salads and fresh Mexican fare! One of our favorite things to do was order room service and eat it on our patio… in the water. Because again, everything tastes better outside!
GASTRO BAR
As if they couldn’t be any cooler, Paradisus Los Cabos has a restaurant led by a Michelin Star chef. Chef Martin Berasategui’s Gastro Bar is one heck of a culinary adventure. The ambiance, the food, the cocktails, everything about it is first class. We did a special tasting menu that had us ooo-ing and awe-ing over every course. If and when you come to Paradisus Los Cabos, make sure you make a reservation at the Gastro Bar. And order one of their famous gin cocktails, they’ll rock your world.
Hungry yet? ;) One thing is for sure, you’re not going to run out of delicious dining options at Paradisus Los Cabos!
